I help make the complex understandable while creating a supportive space from which to learn and make change.

Wellbeing is no joke.

The ‘feeling good’ part is important, but what about the ‘functioning well’ piece? There are significant benefits to businesses and organisations to prioritising the wellbeing of their people.

Studies estimate the average return on investment in employee wellbeing initiatives at 5 times the initial expenditure. (NZIER Wellbeing and productivity at work, Deloitte Refreshing the case for investment).

Staff wellbeing has a direct economic impact on businesses due to its influence on productivity (which clearly relies on employees both being at work, and working effectively during the time they are there).

It would be easy to write wellbeing and mental health off as an individual’s responsibility (and I do believe we owe a duty of care to ourselves and others to take care of our wellbeing). However, if we don’t understand the underlying science and intentionally design our culture and processes to improve wellbeing, can we genuinely claim to positively influence employee wellbeing and performance?

Our world is volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous; challenging for people to navigate. Considering that our business outcomes depend on people, we cannot afford to ignore this reality.

Wellbeing is more than a nice-to-have.

I can design training to meet the needs of your team, group or organisation. I am experienced delivering workshops and training to diverse audiences, across a range of sectors.

Holding qualifications in coaching, teaching, psychology, wellbeing, NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) and group fitness instruction, I also have a background in learning and organisational development. I am skilled at unpacking situations to get to the root of the problem, and flipping the focus to the solution. I help make the complex understandable while creating a supportive, relaxed and accepting space from which to learn and make positive change.
